Getting the parts

It has become apparent that a level of flexibility is required in order meet the various needs of potential and existing Leburg owners:

1. Existing owners require potential spares, for existing internal and external systems.

2. Customers require single controllers as primary or back up ignitions (mags) for alternative systems.

3. Some require alternators, some don't. Some need timing discs and other hardware parts.

Therefore, we'll try to accommodate everyone, however, any new installation kits will be external controllers.

The EI10A controllers are available only from Leburg. 

Various levels of installation are available to the home builder. As some existing engines may already use an externally mounted alternator driven by belt or chain, the owner may wish to only upgrade their ignition. Other owners may wish to use a CBR 600 alternator with regulator/rectifier and purchase the hardware package from Leburg or have their own hardware items manufactured. 

The Ford ignition coils are readily available from Ford or Motorfactors and should be sourced accordingly. 

Honda CBR 600 alternator stator coils are available from Electrexworld.co.uk as are suitable regulator/rectifiers. At present, CBR 600 Rotors need to be sourced from motorcycle breakers or as new parts.

Standard £450 kit

A standard kit consists of:

A pair of external controllers, a pair of 600mm long timing sensors and a pair of 6 way plugs for loom connection.

If you require a longer or shorter timing sensor then please advise suitable dimensions.

Loom harnesses can also be prefabricated to your needs in PVC or PTFE specification.
